Paris scenes is built as a book which follows the author in his tour of Paris. Each page is a geolocated PoI displaying a full screen image: the texts, in french and english, only appear on demand, overlaying the image.

Designed as a multimedia Book, ‘Paris scenes’ is perfectly adapted to discover the beauty of paris on an iPad. It can also be used on an iPhone., however, if you intend to use it ‘on the spot’ in Paris, you should take the iPhone app ‘Paris in my pocket’.

‘Paris scenes’ operates in the absence of the Internet: it uses its own embedded boards that can be refined further by downloading maps of the entire Paris region ... Your GPS position is displayed with other points of interest. The maps are as accurate as online maps and satellite images that you can use if you have access to the Internet.

‘Paris scenes’ also summarizes the history of Paris, from Lutece to Now.
